Eligible local charities are carefully screened by federal employees and must meet CFC eligibility criteria including but not limited to the following:
* Must be a registered 501(c)3 non-profit in good standing with the IRS
* Must serve our Metro Denver campaign area
* Must be open to the public at least 15 hours per week
The 2008 application period for the Metro Denver CFC has now closed and eligible charities have been notified.
Please contact us in February of 2009 to apply next year. Thank you for your interest!
If your charity serves at least 15 states or at least one foreign country, you may wish to apply to participate nationally. Applications are being accepted by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. More info at: www.opm.gov/cfc
Thank you to the charities who participated in one of our CFC Speaker's Training sessions in August and September. Over 130 Speakers were trained!
As our campaign continues, we'll be contacting you about speaking requests and opportunities. Stay tuned!
Charities and Federations: If you have promotional items (i.e. pens, letter openers, travel mugs with your logo on it) that you wish to contribute for goodie bags for distribution at CFC events, or if you wish to sponsor a gift basket or gift certificate for use in promoting the CFC, please contact Robyn Fishman to discuss.
