Why Give Through the CFC?

The CFC is YOUR Campaign, just for federal employees. It allows you to join with your coworkers in supporting the causes and charities you care about most. Federal civilian, Military and Postal employees gave over $275 million nationally last year!

By giving to charity through the CFC, you have the...

* Choice of 2,000 different charities you may support, covering nearly every issue and need imaginable. You have an opportunity to be an "Everyday Hero" for those in need, and this year, they need you more than ever.

* Confidence that your contribution is going to a worthy organization, screened by your peers in the federal community.  The local CFC manager is audited annually to ensure that your pledges go only where you designate, and to ensure that the campaign is conducted efficiently and effectively in accordance with CFC regulations.

* Convenience of payroll deduction. Only through the CFC can you give to the charities of your choice using payroll deduction, which usually allows you to give more by giving just a little at a time. Payroll deductions will begin in January of 2009.

For more information, click here to read FAQ about giving, or contact the CFC office- we're happy to address any specific questions.
