Welcome! The Combined Federal Campaign was started in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy. It is the only charitable solicitation program allowed in the federal workplace.
The CFC of Metro Denver covers an 18 county area in Colorado. Our goal for 2008 is to raise $3.5 million on behalf of hundreds of local, national, and international charities. The solicitation period concludes December 15th.
Thank you to the many generous donors and federal employees who give of their time to conduct the campaign!
Hurricane Relief
The Office of Personnel Management has authorized local CFC campaigns to collect pledges immediately on behalf of organizations working on disaster relief in the wake of Hurricane Gustav and Hurricane Ike. You may collect cash and check contributions (payable to CFC) at your agency that will count with your CFC total raised, but will be distributed ASAP with no administrative fees deducted. For a list of participating charities, click here.
Your generous support is greatly appreciated by those in need!

VICTORY LUNCHEON DATE CHANGE!
In response to feedback received from Campaign Chairs, the CFC Campaign Cabinet has voted to move our Annual Victory Luncheon to early February from now on. This will enable us to recognize federal agencies for their final totals raised, and free up the busy December calendar.
The 2008-09 Campaign Celebration will now be held on Wednesday, February 11th, 2009, from 11:30am to 1pm at the Arvada Center for Arts & Humanities.
Invitations will be sent out in December and posted on this website. Pledge deadlines have also been changed to allow campaigns more time to collect pledges (see key dates at left).
Ready to make a pledge?
Please visit our Toolkit page for a downloadable/searchable brochure and other campaign resources.
For specific participating federal agencies, you may also give online using Employee Express.
Important Reminder:
The ONLY way to give to CFC is using the 2008 Metro Denver CFC Brochure or by giving online via Employee Express (for participating agencies), which both feature a comprehensive list of charities that have been approved to participate in our local campaign. Giving via any other method or website or to any other area will not count with your CFC campaign and is not allowed as part of the CFC. Please contact our office if you have questions about any solicitation materials. Thanks!
